Emma Hulme LLB Law
Civilian Instructor

Emma joined the ATC asĀ  Civilian Instructor at 485 (Harborne and Quinton) Squadron in 2005. She became involved after she attended a Parade Evening to see how her Boyfriend, now Husband, spent his free time. Seven years later she is still in the Corps- with no plans to leave!

Emma remained at 485 Squadron until 2008, when she transferred to 480 (Studley) Squadron.

Since becoming a member of staff Emma has attended various camps, both blue and green. She has completed first aid and weapons training courses and assisted with the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

At Squadron level, Emma is the Media Communications Officer, responsible for press releases to the media and on the Squadron website. She also oversees the administration and delivery of the CVQO Course, allowing Cadets to gain a BTEC in Public Services. This area is something Emma is particularly passionate about. In addition, Emma assists in the teaching of new recruits.

Emma is a Solicitor in Birmingham. She is married to Mark, the Commanding Officer of 480 Squadron.
